Managing end-to-end UX and usability projects in consultancies in Singapore between 2006 to 2009
In 2006, I moved to Singapore to join Affle – an early mobile marketing start-up as UX Architect. I led the UX design efforts for all mobile development. This included conducting user research, UI prototyping, interaction and visual design for all applications and websites. In my next role, as a design consultant with PebbleRoad and InfoLab between 2007 to early 2009, I helped design several very large websites for Singapore government agencies like the Health Promotion Board, Ministry of Defence, National University of Singapore, and Ministry of Transport among others. My contributions ranged from user research, information architecture, visual design and even leading creative pitches for new businesses. I collaborated with other designers and project managers on some projects. A few, I had the opportunity to lead end-to-end through the entire UX lifecycle. I worked on close to 10 projects.
